REQUIREMENTS

If you are considering applying for a position at Brackenridge please ensure you are able to fulfill the following requirements.

You are legally entitled to work in New Zealand by fulfill of the following criteria

You hold NZ citizenship or
You are a permanent resident or
You hold a current work permit
You hold a full and current drivers licence

Experience/Qualifications/Training

Good general education
Experience of knowledge of people with a learning disability
Completion of NZQA Foundation Skills or Core Competencies (or must be wiling to work towards and achieve minimum level 2 within a given timescale)
Certificate in Human Services (or equivalent) is desirable

Must be willing to undertake appropriate training and development on order to meet the requirements of the position.

Ensuring a skilled and qualified workforce is a key component of Brackenridge's long term planning. Providing opportunities to further your career and enhance your skills is a key focus.

Staff complete an orientation programme on appointment and then follow up with set core competency training modules. Further opportunities for upskilling and accessing education are offered through relevant NZQA education.

As well as employing fulltime staff Brackenridge also has a casual pool.
